Description

The car is about 90% complete but will need some touch up work to complete. The engine is not running now, but just needs ignition wires, the driver side exhaust header clearanced to clear the power steering box. The Car is not numbers matching but the engine block, crank, rods, heads, and intake are correct for a 69' SuperBee. It is a HP block casting. I'll say the body is solid, but the paint has bubble up in several areas. Behind the rear driver side wheel is the worst. The engine was overhauled 2 years ago with new main and cam bearings, new Total Seal gapless piston rings. New oil pump, new oil pump pick up, and new windage tray. It has ARP main studs, and ARP head bolts. The crank, rods and pistons were rebalanced at Crankshaft Specialties in Memphis. They reworked the block, and honed the cylinders for me too. The block is .060 over standard bore and has 9.0 to 1 compression pistons in it. The heads have stainless steel valves in them, 2.14 intake, and 1.81 exhaust. Marion Performance did the head work, they gasket matched the heads and and hogged out the runners around the valves. They also did a three angle valve job as well. It now has three new holley carbs. These replacement carbs where purchased from summit and very expensive. I still have the original carbs but they are in poor condition. The carbs also have new throttle linkage, fuel lines, and kick down linkage from Year One. The Timing Chain, gear, cam, lifters, pushrods, rocker arms are all COMP CAMS. A 280 Magnum K-kit and a Magnum Stainless Steel roller rocker kit was put in the engine, which were also very expensive. The motor has never been turned over since it was overhauled, everthing that was put in it and on it has never been run. As mentioned above, I'll say the body is straight, but the paint is bubbling up in several areas in which these old body styles are prone to do. The interior, as far as I know, is original and in decent condition. The headliner has torn in the middle right on its seam. The vinyl on the back seat, at the top, started to split so I keep it covered up with a blanket. The transmission is in working condition. it is a 727 torqeflight. The car is originally a column shift, but someone put a crappy B&M shifter in the floor. I have the original, rebuilt shift linkage for the car. Have not put it in yet due to the clearance problem with the driver side exhaust header and power steering box. It just need a few dents in it to clear the power steering box. The headers a Headman headers. They are the newer kind that uses a ball joint instead of those cheap little triangle gaskets. I also have the new Purple Hornies mufflers w/ built in turn downs for the car too. The can bolt right up to headers, but will need some kind of hanger. The rear end is a 8 3/4" type. I have 2 extra third member housings, and an extra axle housing, with two axle shafts to go with the car too. I don't know the gear ratio, and I think it is a posi but not sure. Any other questions just ask. I'm open to a partial trade also, let me know what you have. Thankx
