After being hit by a car last May, and left in the middle of a busy 6 lane road, I was rescued and treated for a broken leg and severe lacerations. My leg bone doesn't connect to my hip bone anymore, but it still works great, and I can run and run and run. I'm a black Lab mix with lots of energy, and I just turned one year old. I weigh 40 pounds, and I am full grown.My rescuers tried to keep me, but they had two cats and had already promised my Aunt Carol that they would take care of her two dogs. She had cancer and passed away last July. Sadie and Yankee are both old dogs, and I have way too much energy for them. When I try to play with them, I get too rough, and they get mad and start biting me. Sometimes I cry, and my parents are afraid I will get hurt.I graduated from a beginner obedience class, and I'm very smart. I need someone to help me keep my training from being forgotten, and did I mention I have lots of energy? I love everyone I meet. My parents will miss me, but they think it would be best for everyone for me to have a different home. Two cats and three dogs makes life just way too hectic. I would make a perfect addition to any home.
