Meet Tucker *** UPDATE 11-12-09, Tucker is such a sweet boy, he is very shy till he feels that he can trust you but once he has decided that you are ok, you have made a friend for life. Tucker loves playing with his foster brothers andsisters but would really like a home all of his own, could that be you? Tucker loves to be petted, adores going for long walks on a leash and treasures his quiet snuggle time with his family. *** Tucker is a stunning black and tan male about 4 years old. He has been treated for heartworm and is now happy and healthy. Tucker has a laid back personality and got along with another large male in his last home (a temporary situation while they tried to find his owners). We think that Tucker must have been kept as strictly an outside dog for most of his life because now that he has been allowed inside in his current foster home, he loves being inside with the family and only wants to go outside to take care of business and then come right back in. Tucker is a real sweetheart but NOT RECOMMENDED FOR A HOME WITH CATS. If you are interested in adopting a new family member from our organization, please complete the online adoption application. Our adoption fees are: $300 for any dog 1 year and younger (BABY) $250 for any dog 1-3 years (YOUNG) $200 for any dog 3-7 years (ADULT) $150 for dogs over 7 (SENIOR) The adoption fee helps cover expenses for the dogs while in the rescue program including the vet check, vaccines, heartworm testing, stool check, spay/neuter , microchip, plus other necessary veterinary care and training to get the dog ready for adoption. Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. We are not a shelter, but a network of foster homes.
