Meet Sweet Paige Paige is a lovely female black and tan GSD, just over 2 years old. (Estimated Birth Date 8-4-07) Paige was rescued from a shelter where she was listed as a stray. Currently she is being fostered by a family in Franklin TN and learning how to live in a home with love. Paige needs for her new adoptive family to continue to work on the efforts the foster family has started - learning house manners, obedience, and socialization. In foster care, Paige is living with a houseful of big and medium sized dogs and has even made friends with their cat! Paige is up-to-date with all her shots, flea and heartworm preventative, and has been spayed. **Check back often as we get more photos and updates from her foster parents** All SOS Dogs must go to a home where they will be welcome indoors as part of the family. No one under the age of 21 will be considered. We prefer to adopt within the state of Tennessee...preferably a 3 or 4 hour driving radius of each dog's foster home (in this case Franklin TN). However, exceptions can be made if you are the ideal forever family. Foster to Adopt programs are also available in some cases. If you are interested in adopting a new family member from our organization, please complete the online adoption application. It is the first step to bringing home your new family member. All dogs listed as ADOPTABLE are indeed still available. Matching the right dog with the right family sometimes takes a while, so your patience is appreciated. Our adoption fees are: $300 for any dog 1 year and younger (BABY) $250 for any dog 1-3 years (YOUNG) $200 for any dog 3-7 years (ADULT) $150 for dogs over 7 (SENIOR) The adoption fee helps cover expenses for the dogs while in the rescue program including the vet check, vaccines, heartworm testing, stool check, spay/neuter , microchip, plus other necessary veterinary care and training to get the dog ready for adoption. Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. We are not a shelter, but a network of foster homes. Therefore there is no one central location where multiple dogs can be viewed.
