She wore a collar and i.d. tag.....phone call after phone call, message after message the Good Samaritan left for the owner of Daphne. The owner never returned her call. Truth be told...the former owner was not a good one. Daphne was not spayed, Daphne is light heart worm positive (very treatable) and is starved for affection. Daphne is a very affectionate big girl and deserves a better suited home. All creatures do! Daphne has not quite mastered her walking on a leash...her idea is to walk you, which is great if you need motivation! Daphne is adjusting well to learning basic manners and is much happier now that she has the first bit of love. Daphne is house trained, current on vaccines, spayed and current on heart worm prevention. She weighs 80 lbs and is approximately 1-2 years old. Daphne's light heart worm positive status is easily treated. Simply maintaining her monthly heartworm prevention will soon result in heart worm negative results. We will provide heart worm prevention for her until she tests negative.
