You've GOT to be joking! REALLY? My name is Bo-Bo, like the clown? Good grief. Some people should just bark instead of talk. I'm never understood...so why was this name? Argggg! Alright...beyond my name (please overlook it) Here's my story. It's surprising and cruel. I'm justhappy to be alive and well. I was underweight when they found me. They're trying to 'fatten' me up....which I'm totally diggin! The people here say this about me...so, please keep reading. This handsome boy was left chained to a tree. The only life he has ever known was at the end of a chain. He was never welcomed to come inside. Not when it rained, snowed, was bitter cold or horribly hot...he was left in any and all elements. Surprisingly, he holds no grudge. Unconditional love can absolutely be discovered when meeting this boy. This is one dog, one story. There are thousands of stories like this and many more that are far worse. Luckily this guy was saved from living another day at the end of a chain. Bo Bo, a name from his former owner is hopefully the only thing left to remind him of his old life. Bo Bo is very sweet. He loves everyone and everything. He loves other dogs and loves the freedom of playing in a grassy yard. He is great with car rides and loves to go to new places. He is what we like to call a gentleman. He's not too rough and not too lazy. A perfect mixture of a wonderful dog. Bo Bo knows how to put a smile on our face and does everytime we walk by. He gives you those soulful eyes and silently says 'come to me.' Bo Bo weighs 71 lbs and is approximately 3 years old. If you are unable to adopt, please consider contributing to the care of a homeless pet.Sunny Meadows...Safe Haven for Pets is a 501 c 3 non profit organization. All donations are tax deductible. We are Open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm until 4 pm for our ADOPTION DAYS! Monday through Friday hours are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Dog Adoption fee $150.00 Cat Adoption fee $100 On average we spend well over our adoption fee for each pet. The adoption fee goes towards our expenses. All pets adopted from Sunny Meadows will be fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested appropriately and verified negative (i.e. heartworm test or FIV/FeLV combo test) Many of our rescues arrive to us in critical need of costly medical procedures; heart worm treatment, orthopedic surgery and ophthalmologic surgery, just to name a few. Many rescued pets need behavior modification and socialization skills. We go to great lengths to ensure the health and well being of our pets.
