* { font:inherit; } UPDATE!! BEARY NEEDS A SPONSOR!!Beary was adopted in the fall of 2008 and we received him back in May of 2009., Due to the economy his new Dad gave him up. Unfortunately he now tests POSITIVE FOR HEARTWORMS and must be treated.I need a sponsor for my heartworm treatment!!I will still be available for adoption. The rescue will treat heartworms if you promise to keep me calm. Beary was a born around March of 2008. He is a typical playful young guy! He gets along well with other dogs but we do not know about cats. He is working on learning his basic obedience commands in his foster home. His foster Mom writes that Beary is a great dog, BEARY SMART and BEARY LOVABLE! Please ask for a trial adoption to ensure compatibility with your family.Our adoption fee starts at $150.00 and covers a portion of our never ending medical expenses accrued while caring for castaways. Please note that we must list a certain breed when posting so we do guess at the heritage and specific breeds are not guaranteed. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, have been heartworm tested, medical needs taken care of and will be spayed or neutered before adoption is finalized. All dogs are on monthly heartworm and flea preventative If you cannot adopt this dog but would like to send him/her a gift; while waiting for a forever home please email linda@dogs2ndchance.org mention which dog you would like to give your gift to. You will get an email from the dog and a photo with the gifts you sent!
