Hi, my name is Megara, but you can call me Meg. There is absolutely nothing mostly beagle about me other than I hang out with a lot of them. I am a 75 pound sweeter than candy Rottweiler. I was rescued by Mostly Beagles from the West Memphis shelter where I had served one month for being a stray. I am HEARTWORM POSITIVE, but I have begun my treatment and will make a full recovery. While heartworm prevention only costs about $10 a month for a dog my size, heartworm treatment is very expensive. PLEASE HELP ME PAY FOR MY MEDICAL BILLS. I love to meet new people, play with other dogs, eat treats, go for long walks in the park, and chew on bones. I am about 18 months old and should weigh about 85 pounds when fully mature. I am being trained and evaluated at Good Dog University. I have already learned to not jump on people, heel on leash, wait at doors, hop into my kennel, sit on command, and my education continues everyday. I am available only for local adoption because my new adopters will be required to attend a 6 week obedience course in Memphis, TN or Olive Branch, MS to reinforce what I already know and to teach me more.
